GRETEL! (publishing a new musical)

It’s hard work preparing anything for publication, and the music of GRETEL! requires actor-musicians, careful timing of dialogue, and a cello part chock-full of extended techniques! The result is a thrilling, unique theatrical experience. It was an honor to bring the work of composer/lyricist Jenn Hartmann Luck and her collaborator Nora Karkousoglou to the page, and ultimately, to the stage!

I spent several months working as a copyist with Jenn, Nora, and the wonderful folks at Dramatic Publishing Company to create the licensed materials, leading up to our premiere at First Stage in Milwaukee. I’d do it again in a heartbeat!
